Cover Work -- Pacifica Skies by SRSobotka Cover Work -- Pacifica Skies by SRSobotka
Much thanks and big-high fives for :iconartassassin: for his part in doing the commissioned artwork for this.

This is most likely going to be the final look of the cover for my next novel.

The full title: "PACIFICA SKIES: The Misadventures of Arthur King:.

Hope to have this out by 2010 at the earliest. wish me luck!

Very enjoyable. I like the image and the style, very much. And the subject matter --

When your novel is ready, contact me. The following website (Spontoon Island) is small, but we're likely to be willing to let viewers know that your story is available.

The book is currently still in-progress, but I hope to have it ready for press, come next year late at the earliest.

Stephen, I've been looking at publishers all week for a book of my own, and I've got to say that it's pretty amazing just how dismal many book covers are. The old adage is to never judge a book by its cover, but I think that had to do with the days when libraries were largely stocked with remainders that didn't sell, had their covers ripped off, and then were quickly rebound in plain jane brown canvas.

Nowadays I think you have to judge a book by its cover, because if someone hasn't gone the extra length to get a decent image on the jacket then they probably haven't tried to hard on the inside either. Personally, I'm not big on the furries thing, but if I saw this in the bookstore I'd definitely pick it up and give it a look.
